Paving the way for a sustainable future through Environmental Initiatives

We strive to make efficient use of natural resources and to minimize the environmental impact of our activities and products. Apart from contributing to the World Wildlife Fund, we also raise awareness and educate our employees and equipping our facilities with technology that ensures responsible practices in our facilities and offices.

Renewable Energy

Synthokem Labs was one of the first pharma companies to harvest solar energy in India. In an attempt to reduce our energy footprint, our facilities are powered by renewable power sources striking the appropriate balance between our environmental responsibilities, financial performance, and business commitments.

Wastewater Management

We are constantly working towards innovative practices in our daily operations to sustain our growth and care for the environment. With state-of-the-art wastewater management practices in place at all our facilities, our operations comply water management standards in a highly safe and sustainable environment.

Recycling and waste management

Synthokem is committed to keeping the environmental impact of waste at a minimum and follows a clear waste management strategy. Waste prevention and reduction are always preferred to treatment, incineration or disposal. We currently recycle approximately 80% of all non-hazardous waste and 60% of all hazardous waste and continue to maximize opportunities for reuse and recycling.

Empowering people and communities through meaningful social initiatives

Our aim is to address the challenges faced by our society and help those that are unable to care for their basic requirements. Our projects are not limited to financial help as we wanted to make a long term commitment and care for their well-being.

Education

Synthokem Labs actively contributes towards the education of the girl child & financially challenged students. The initiative aims to break the cycle of illiteracy in the country by empowering children from economically & socially backward communities and make learning a joyful and enriching experience for our future generations.

Support

We actively participate in the midday meal scheme by Akshaya Patra, the not-for-profit organisation conferred as the world’s largest NGO-run mid-day meal programme. We also support orphanages like Shantiniketan and The United Orphanage for the Disabled, serving differently-abled individuals in living a comfortable and humane life.

Healthcare

Extending our contributions to society through healthcare, we are part of support initiatives by various hospitals in Telangana that aid the treatment of underprivileged children & adults. Synthokem Labs also provides financial assistance and support to people living with HIV in association with Network of HIV+ People.
